Potenza
Potenza is an Italian city and capital of the province of Basilicata. In the city there is a medieval core that is the largest in the entire region. The center is in Piazza Matteotti in which overlooks the Palazzo del Comune, crossed by road via animated Pretoria city centre which extends in the central square Mario Pagano. In the same square is the Teatro Stabile, built in 1856 and inaugurated in 1865 due to an interruption of business due to earthquakes that were frequent in the area. In areas further downstream of the hill on which stands the city, however, have come to form various residential districts, commercial areas popular and that have made the most important city in its role as capital. Recently in the area were found Gallitello of archaeological finds and is the most important site discovered in the territory of Potenza.
