The Big Horn is the highest summit of the Group of mountains belonging to the Gran Sasso d'Italia. It is in the region of Abruzzo in the municipality of Pietracamela. This summit is divided into four peaks, is the Summit West, namely the highest, making it the highest peak of the Apennines with its m 2912. The Torrione Change remains the top lower. The Summit Central together with the Eastern Summit have a height of about 2903 metres.
